Designed to tackle the extreme compute challenges of the most complex scientific, visualization, 3D design, DCC and broadcast applications, the PNY NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 PCI Express VCQFX5600-PCIE-PB delivers a new unified architecture, Shader Model 4.0 technology, large frame buffers, and GPU computing for visualization technology.

The PNY NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 PCI-E is targeted as an ultra high-performance professional graphics solution for PCI Express systems. It features 1536 MB of 136-pin ball grid array (BGA) GDDR3 memory, with a bandwidth of up to 76.8GB/sec for interactive visualization and processing of large textures and frames. This solution also offers compute programmability, and support for advanced 32- or 64-bit workstation architectures. The NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 by PNY supports a variety of display types including CRTs, projectors and digital flat panels. It also supports frame lock/genlock (G-Sync model) and a future to be released serial digital interface (HD-SDI / SDI model).

A How To set up Dual Monitors for PNY Nvidia Quadro FX 5600 PCIE Retail

You need to make sure you have both monitors connected to your computer and powered-up before attempting to setup nView.

Here are the steps to configure multiple displays with your Nvidia Quadro FX 5600 PCIE video card.

  1. Right click on the desktop and select "Properties"
  2. In the Display Properties control panel click the "Settings" tab.
  3. On the bottom right corner of the window click "Advanced...".
  4. In the Advanced window click the GeForce tab.
  5. Click the "nView Display Modes" option.
  6. You must now choose what mode you would like to setup:
  7. Clone will mirror your primary display to your secondary display: This setting is good for use with a projector.
  8. Horizontal Span/Vertical Span: This will stretch your display across both displays horizontally or vertically depending on what option you select.
  9. Once you have selected the option you would like to use, click "Apply".
  10. Windows will now ask you if you would like to keep these new settings, if you do not click "Yes" within 10 seconds the displays will default back to single monitor and you must repeat the above steps.
